Tutoring Sessions
11+ Preparation Courses
Ideal for children preparing for the Kent and Medway 11+ who need focused, structured exam preparation.
These intensive sessions provide structured, focused support for children preparing for the Kent and Medway 11+. Pupils build confidence, practise key skills, and become familiar with the style and pace of the exam.
Each session runs for 3.5 hours, including 3 hours of tutoring and a 30-minute break for lunch or refreshments (please bring with you).
Sessions are available in three focused formats:

Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning – Developing reasoning skills and practising a wide range of 11+ question types.

English & Maths – Strengthening key curriculum knowledge and applying it to 11+ style questions.

Practice Paper Sessions – Completing timed papers in a supportive environment, with guided feedback to improve accuracy and exam technique.
These sessions are designed to be engaging, supportive, and appropriately challenging, helping pupils build confidence, improve exam technique, and feel fully prepared as they approach the 11+ examinations.

Small group sessions (maximum 4 children) provide a supportive, interactive learning environment where pupils can develop their skills alongside others of a similar ability.
Each 50-minute session focuses on strengthening core learning, building confidence, and developing key skills through structured activities, discussion, and collaborative learning.
Children are supported to make steady progress while growing in confidence within a calm, encouraging setting.
1:1 Sessions
Ideal for children who need personalised support, targeted help, or a confidence boost in specific areas.
Individual tutoring sessions provide personalised support tailored to your child’s specific learning needs. Sessions are carefully structured to build confidence, strengthen key skills, and address any gaps in understanding across the primary curriculum, including 11+ preparation where required.

Each session is carefully planned to bridge gaps in understanding while building a positive, “can-do” attitude towards learning. I use a range of interactive activities and practical resources to keep sessions engaging, while breaking more challenging topics down into manageable, achievable steps.
